She's double her natural size at sixteen pounds! She's about ten, with bad back patellas and can't walk far. She rides in a small cart a good portion of the time, when I take out the other dogs. I've tried to get her fitted to a dog cart but they recommend she lose weight before she is fitted to a cart. We've tried all year, on diet food, to get this dog slimmer. It simply doesn't happen. She's a happy dog, alert and wants to walk. The Vet. won't do surgery until she is thinner. We've search out pools but the cost of physio-theraphy is beyond us ($50 a session).
